VR Motion System

The Problem

Users losing spatial context during sudden transitions.

Lack of feedback provided to users.

Inconsistent motion implementation increased disorientation for users.

The Solution

The goal was to make motion feel natural, intuitive, and safe, guiding users through 3D space without sensory overload. While user-centric and ergonomically grounded, the system still carried a distinct brand personality.

02. Consistent interaction patterns.

The Constraints

  • Frame budget and performance constraints

  • Motion sickness thresholds

  • Engine-level animation limitations

    • lacked consist Shell-based animation system

Designed a motion system to preserve orientation, communicate state changes, and reduce cognitive load in VR.

01. Natural feedback system that is immersive and comfortable.

VROS design system’s visual language is inspired by travel.

Soft gradients, subtle reflections, and a sense of elevation that feels grounded and ethereal. It became the foundation for how the interface looks and feels: radiant, expressive and alive.
